Healthy. Wealthy. Rich. Free.
What I really mean when I say I want more—and what I am no longer willing to postpone.
Pull your chair a little closer.
Bring your coffee, tea, wine, sparkling water, or whatever you have nearby. There are no beverage police at this kitchen table.
And this conversation is just for us.
Every day, I say the same affirmation:
I am healthy.
I am wealthy.
I am rich.
I am free.
Sometimes I say it with complete confidence.
Sometimes I say it while my circumstances are looking back at me as if they would like to challenge the accuracy of my statement.
Rude.
But I say it anyway.
Because I believe words have power.
I believe the words we repeatedly speak over ourselves can shape what we expect, what we notice, what we believe is possible, and how we move through the world.
So I do not say this affirmation casually.
I am not using these words to ignore my body, my bank account, my fears, my disappointments, or the parts of my life that still need to change. I am speaking something larger than the circumstances in front of me.
I say these words because they remind me of what I am building.
